As part of the 49th Congress of the Spanish Society of Clinical Immunology, Allergology and Paediatric Asthma (SEICAP), held in Santiago de Compostela, DIATER organised a Breakfast with the Expert attended by more than 90 participants. The session f cused on precision medicine for paediatric patients with allergies, based on the diagnosis and molecular-based treatment of some of the main allergens in Spain: fungi, Cupressaceae and fungi.
Accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment can help manage symptoms and prevent future allergic reactions. The session was moderated by Dr Javier Torres, who guided the discussion with three specialists in these allergens: Dr María Mesa, Dr María Capataz and Dr Alba García Moral. The speakers explored the importance of an accurate diagnosis in enabling early treatment and helping to improve the quality of life of paediatric patients with allergies.

In addition, as part of our ongoing commitment to the continuous training and professional development of healthcare professionals, the 2nd edition of the Paediatric ICT Course is currently underway. This theoretical and practical course for paediatricians focuses on immunoassay techniques and is accredited and endorsed by SEICAP.
