On 21 and 22 November, DIATER held the 6th edition of Paediatric ALerMOLD at Espacio Bertelsmann in Madrid, an educational programme accredited and endorsed by SEAIC that brought together specialists from across Spain dedicated to the management of allergies in paediatric patients.
The opening day began with a session focused on paediatric immunology, covering a wide range of topics, including suspected immunodeficiency, the new classification of hypersensitivity reactions and the role of the epithelium in asthma. The afternoon also featured a round-table discussion on molecular immunotherapy, during which several experts shared their experience and perspectives on its use in paediatric patients, as well as a keynote lecture on doctor–patient communication, highlighting the importance of improving communication strategies to support treatment adherence and follow-up in paediatric patients.
